A good stadium, with excellent view. The catering area is a bit small, but that's not unusual for football stadiums. The atmosphere generally is very friendly and welcoming as are the home fans. Parking near the ground is ok, but most of it is a 5 - 10 minute walk away. Basically a nice little ground and worth a visit

Hit and miss, as another reviewer said. What was good was very good indeed; what wasn't was surprising. The carrot and red pepper soup was great; the vegetarian risotto tasty, but overly salty ("I'll tell the chef, but we're changing our menu next week"); the rack of lamb and sea bass wonderful, albeit both accompanied by the exact same vegetables - a red pepper sauce plus a slightly spicy ratatouille. One dessert was good, the other bad (the pastry on the berry strudel was charred on the outside and uncooked on the inside - "we only have one oven" was the excuse offered). Service was positive and timely, although seemed to downplay our complaints. "Was everything OK?" is not a good question to ask at the end of the meal after we'd already pointed out that it wasn't! Nothing was comped, despite the feedback.£76, including the 10% "discretionary" service charge, for 3 of us on a Saturday: 2 "set meals", 1 main course, 2 glasses of wine.

What a brilliant, clean and beautiful place to go! I took my daughters 5 and 7 years old of age to a X factor finalist concert and they absolutely loved it. They made it so special for the children and most importantly safe !! . They brought the small children to the front so they could get a better view too and went all out with a glitter gun ,my children have not stopped talking about it .A must place to go visit x

Amazing food and such a vast selection! I am a vegan and my mother is a meat eater. We were provided with a Vegetarian/Vegan menu which offered a large selection of meals. I even had a vegan roast dinner - virtually unheard of when dining out! We were incredibly impressed with the greeting from the charming barman, to the waitress perfect service - not too much or too little - just right! And the food was of the highest standard - the best fine dining you will find in Shrewsbury, and a few miles outside too! My friends have stayed in the hotel and second this opinion - very impressive.
