We recently attended a wedding friends wedding function and first time I have been since it was taken over from Koyla Restaurant.. The new management have done a great job with updating the decor and the facilities. There was a great ambience and feel about the place. Also an excellent city centre location.. would definitely recommend lovely venue!

We are a city centre bar overlooking green dragon square serving premium lagers, cocktails, spirits and a variety of gins. We have an outdoor seating area with space for 50 chairs. We also have an upstairs which is only used for private functions and has a capacity of 50 people. The main downstairs bar is open to the public Tuesday-Saturday but can be also hired out upon request, the main downstairs holds 100 people inside.

Good variety of beers. Lagers and other alcoholic and soft drinks. Nice furnishings and decor. Toilets all on the same level. Nice choice on menu and reasonably priced. Didn't like smokey smell and noise of sizzle platters that were being taken to tables off and on. Must have tasted good though as being ordered off and on all lunchtime.

Beautifully decorated pub, with very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing restaurant re food choice and quality. We often eat here at end of busy days when we're out of steam and want to be spoilt. The mussels are delicious and are often my first choice. So lucky to have such a wide choice in a lovely village setting......baguettes in the bar or moules in the restaurant, gorgeously cooked roasts on a Sunday, locally sourced food, beautifully cooked and menu for every taste.
