I found his service to be value for money as he was able to meet a tight schedule and was able to pick up from plans completed by my previous architect who had let me down. I am most impressed with his swift communication and accommodating attitude, working with my builder and building control inspector to ensure the best solution to my foundation problem. Pooya has really worked hard to make the process as stress- free as possible which I am grateful for after much disappointment with the last architect.

Making difficult designs look simple and elegant. Naturally it is not as easy as I would make it look.
Realising that there was a considerable market of small to medium-sized projects where employing a multi-employee design company would prove unnecessarily expensive for the client.
To start with, and summed up in one word; - Economy. With many years experience working for both building companies and consulting design companies, providing simple easy-to-build solutions reduces uncertainty, gives builders confidence and helps to reduce their quotations. If the project is more complicated then the most economical solution will be found. Expertise in all the common building materials, and some not so common, helps.
A very limited range of services can be provided online or remotely. In most cases one or more site visits would be required. Zoom/Facetime/Whatsapp meetings with client and/or builder can be organised where necessary and appropriate.
Currently in Tier 4, I insist on the use of face masks/shields and sanitiser. I will not meet more than one person, will maintain social distancing and, if possible, will meet outdoors. I may have to turn down or defer meeting clients if I feel uncomfortable with their proposed arrangements.
