How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Any Garage is suitable tor conversion especially if it is connected to the main building.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Garage conversion is lawful development unless it involve external changes with the appearance of the house. Architectural drawing are required to apply for LDC (lawful development Certificate). If the new layout will involve any structural alteration hence the structural calculations will be mandatory.
Building regulation will be recommended to make the final product up to the standards.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
2.2 meters height is what I recommend as the minimum required height to obtain good liveable loft, 2.4 is ideal height.
