I have done over 6 session with Holly so far and my experience has been incredible, I'm one those people who doubts himself a lot, but Holly is very patient and understating towards the way i want to learn and is able to work around my schedule, her knowledge is very impressive and each lesson has given me something to work on and improve so I never go empty handed.
If this review sounds fake it's probably because I'm not good at writing reviews but I promise you after your 1st session you'll feel more comfortable and feel like you're learning! I will note that you do need to be passionate about singing and/or want to learn in order to get the most out of it, as it will test you, I've had my ups and down in the few sessions I had, but just like mentioned before Holly will be very understanding so be open with her and you'll do great! Wonderfully cheerful singing lessons with Holly. We are able to cover at types of music, voices and rhythms. Love my weekly sessions!

I am really enjoying my lessons with Holly. I find her to be patient in taking from my present level, and building my experience and confidence in my right hand techniques to a more proficient level.

Holly makes the lessons intuitive, relaxed and fun. She has a wonderful, warm and friendly personality.

She is incredibly talented and explains the lesson in way that is easy to understand. I am only a beginner, but I can already see an improvement in my ability to play the guitar.

I cannot recommend Hollys guitar lessons enough! The lessons are really informative! Holly adapted her lessons to suit the style of guitar that i want to learn, and breaks down each part of an exercise so i know what finger is doing what and where to put my hand, She also sends information on the exercises completed during lessons, so i am able to practice in the week. Great teacher

I am an enthusiastic novice that wanted to learn how to use my voice properly, especially as my voice ages (I am now 53).
Holly's ability to listen and interpret my expectations has been second to none. Her enthusiasm has been infectious and while we have only had two lessons she has made each lesson fun, informative and leaving me wanting to improve and learn more. Holly is superb! If you are considering looking for a vocal coach, look no further! My 16 year old Daughter began to show a serious love for playing the guitar and singing, as a none musical person I wanted to find her some support to help her progress to give her the skills to take it further at college. Back in November I found Holly, my Daughter lacked in confidence and would only sing for me within weeks she was doing things she had no idea she could do. Most importantly Charlie is coming off the lessons beaming and excited to showcase her work performing in front of family and now friends and teachers prior to Christmas. Holly was a natural at making a shy quiet girl open up and start to sing giving her so much advice and creating a relaxed, humourous engaging lesson that she feels so comfortable in, she literally looks forward every week to her lesson and as her biggest fan I am enjoying the results immensely. I had many bidders when I was looking for a tutor but Holly stood out because she responded with genuine interest and enthusiasm, and once I heard her sing and play the guitar, my instincts told me that she would be able to help me on my journey. I wasn't wrong! Holly creates a friendly and fun environment in her lessons with her bubbly personality, which makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. Yet, Holly is professional and very knowledgeable, explaining things in way that I can understand. I have found her to be very encouraging and patient, especially when I am struggling with any techniques or exercises she has shown me! Holly is also amazing when it comes to suggesting different ways to sing difficult parts of songs. Her experience really shines through in those moments. I have had absolutely no regrets in asking Holly to provide music theory lessons to my 16yr old daughter completing GCSE'S, she has grown massively in confidence and knowledge during this time. Holly is a fantastic musician, I can often hear her singing whilst playing her guitar to demonstrate a theory to my daughter which has been invaluable and successful in embedding the curriculum in this area. Holly is always punctual, polite, professional and she has a good sense of humour. Nothing is too much trouble and I feel she genuinely cares about her pupils and is driven to support and develop them, she has shown this consistently since we've known her. I asked my daughter what she would say about Holly, this was her reply; "Holly has a way of making me feel relaxed, I feel I can be open and honest if I'm unsure of an answer but she never makes me uncomfortable about that, it's never a problem. She includes him and they play songs together rather than an "I do, you do" approach and he learns songs that he recognises which encourages him to play and practice more. Holly is an excellent teacher. She has lots of different ways that cater to all people when learning new techniques. She takes the time to explain to you what you are doing and how you are doing it. she is so helpful, she made me feel comfortable as I was really nervous, as my background is dance. and she really knows what's she doing and talking about. the session is very informative.

So far lesson with Holly have been great! I recently hired her and am now onto my second lesson. The lessons are very easy to follow, very informative and have given me techniques and excersises that are very manageable. Holly is also very easy to communicate with and I can always get in touch with her should I have any questions.
