How many photos does a family session take?
The number of photos that your photographer will take will depend on the type and duration of the photoshoot you book. You won’t see most of the photos either. This is because your photographer will take duplicate photos in case anyone blinks or looks away. They’ll then delete any photos that don’t come out quite right before showing you the final selection. A one-hour family photoshoot will typically generate between 30 and 60 finished photos.
What should I wear for a photoshoot?
What you choose to wear for your photoshoot is a personal choice. It’s important to choose an outfit that you feel confident in, as this will help to put you at ease during your photoshoot. Try to avoid busy patterns as these may blur on photos. If you’re having a family photoshoot, it’s a good idea to co-ordinate your outfits to ensure that you don’t clash with each other.
How should a family prepare for a photo shoot?
There are a few things that you can do to prepare your children for a photo shoot. Firstly, tell them about the photo shoot and help them to get excited. This will give the best chance of capturing smiles on camera. It’s also a good idea to make sure that the photo shoot doesn’t conflict with nap times and that your children eat, drink and go to the toilet before the photoshoot begins.
