Please note we are not mobile groomers i.e. in a van. Dog Walking within private land, approximately 10 acres of secure fields where the dogs can romp, play and exercise on a 121 basis, with a group or single household pets.
Being able to meet all kinds of different types of dogs and get to know their different personalities. Also to be able to allow dogs to feel better once they have been groomed and help educate owners in many ways they may not have had the chance before such as different equipment to use for maintaining coats in between grooming and any advice to keep matts at bay. Seeing happy owners once they see their groomed dog is the best feeling!
I have always loved animals and dogs in particular since getting my own and realising how amazing they are and so I have dabbled in different careers with animals to then decide I wanted to work solely with dogs and that’s when I started training in dog grooming and realised I had a hidden passion I would never have know about otherwise!
I am very calm and patient with all dogs and have a calmer voice so I can be particularly good with more nervous dogs that just need a bit more reassurance throughout the groom to get more used to it. I have therefore had dogs come to me that other groomers haven’t been able to handle for whatever reason and I have been able to get them used to the process more over time. Sometimes it just takes a bit more patience and time and some groomers don’t allow for this.
Customers can wear masks upon getting out of their car on arrival, and can request for me to do so as well if preferred. I will sanitise my hands before coming out to meet you, keep 2 metres distance at all times whilst we chat through what you require me to do when it comes to the trim of the dog.
The dog will be washed straight away and then trimmed if preferred to reduce any worries of passing anything over through the dog.
I also clean down all surfaces and equipment before each new dog enters the salon to reduce all risks.
