Today was my dog Lámina’s first ever groom. She is a Pomsky and super fluffy and because of that she gets very knotted and matted. She is also very timid and nervous around new surroundings and people. We took her to Picasso’s in hope that they would be able to get her matted fur out. We didn’t know how she would be as she’s never been groomed or seen the workers before. However they was so good with her and she loved them. She looks amazing and all the knots and matts have gone and she looks like a new dog!! Would 100% recommend and will definitely be going there from now on!! More...

For the past year I've been looking for a place to have my dogs groomed, instead of grooming them myself.
It's been great grooming them myself, but I know where my strengths lie, and it's not grooming dogs!
Recently this fab little place, just 5 minutes walk away from my home, opened up.
I'd been journaling about the kind of businesses I wanted to work with,
Not just as my clients,
But as a client.
I wanted friendliness,
Politeness,
People that go that extra mile,
Transparency,
Ownership in all areas of dealings with clients,
Mutual respect and support,
Basically... all the elements that go towards delivering great customer service,
(I did win an award for Queen of Customer Service you know!�)
I wanted to see more young female entrepreneurs,
I wanted to see people with vision,
And a sense of humour.
I certainly called it in with this place!I popped in a few weeks ago to make the appointment for both Kelt & Chewy, Chewy especially as every new mum deserves pampering to give her a boost.
Yesterday the appointment day finally arrived and the team at Picasso's did not disappoint!
They were everything I wanted and more, and most importantly,
my dogs were happy to stay,
Came out looking super styled and blissfully happy!
So if you are looking for a place to take your beloved canine for a wash or full groom, whilst you take a breather and enjoy a coffee down the road at Oakbrook Coffee House,
Or a spot of lunch at Gigi's Cucina,
Then I highly recommend Picasso's �
Worth every penny!

I have bathed and groomed my long haired German shepherd for 5 years at home (a 4 hour ordeal for both of us) the house gets covered in hair, smells like wet dog for a week , and I'm left exhausted.
