Having grown up with a lot of dogs in the house, my favorite aspect of my job is spending time with dogs. I'm also a very creative person, as a teenager I was interested in art, fashion and design. I realized I could combine my passions and trained as a dog groomer. I often watch champion groomers and have even volunteered in their salons for free just to be the best I can.
I have my own dog and hate the look she gives me when she sees that i'm going out. I realised that I could spend all of my time with her if I could work from home, and so I set up my own home based salon so that she never has to spend days on her own, instead she can watch me work and also play with some of the doggy customers in the garden whilst they're waiting to be collected after their grooms.
I am professional, passionate and take my time with every animal in my care. When animals are away from their owners they need understanding and equal amounts of calm, play, relaxation and fun. My mission is not to fit as many animals into my day as I can, but rather to allocate as much time as each animal needs in order to be happy and have its needs fulfilled.
