We had an idea for a celebration (175 yrs in business), we had the venue, we had the guest list. At our first meeting with Roger, we knew we need look no further, we had the right guy to deliver. For the guests this was the best party they had been to, for the host, the event went like clockwork. From the original concept to the lights being turned off at the end of the evening, Roger was there on hand, making sure nothing was missed. A late cancellation of one of the entertainments caused some difficulty, but a replacement had been found by the time the host heard about the problem. Roger, and his assistant Gemma, had a knack of mingling within the crowd and keeping the momentum going throughout the evening. A bonus was the camera work, Roger was clicking away all night and produced a vast collection of memorable photos of people having the time of their lives. Brilliant.

My daughter had her 7th birthday party here, the slime workshop was fantastic. The kids loved it and it certainly wasn't rushed, the kids had lots of time making different slimes. The food at Valope was excellent, the kids had bottomless juice and even they couldn't finish off all of the pizza. The cake was beautiful and delicious! As it happened to be our anniversary dinner on a hospital appointment at Mexborough. We had spotted the Seafish on more than one occasion and thought we would give it a try. We arrived and waited literally about 5 seconds before a waitress asked us to choose where we wanted to sit (it was 2.30pm and only 3 couples in there) The choice of food was amazing, we both settled on garlic mushrooms, my husband had plaice & chips a I had a seafood dish topped with mash potatoe. If you can, not to eat anything before you go as meals are enormous. The waitress who served us was called Mel, she was chatty & hilarious but difineately informative. Think we will be dropping in again when we visit the hospital.
