Comedy Kids shows & private Birthday party entertainment for Kids & Adults. Been around since 1986 working in the city for 11 years with most of the above. Now we and the giant warehouse of props are based back in the lake district, preforming an greater variety of presentations on request -One off's like Willy Wonka themed children's show, Educational Magic [ How it was used as a communication tool for therapists & Magic history with talk & Demo's ] The above seems like a lot, but we have been around awhile & we avoid trying to do it all in one show ! However we hope this provides you with some idea of our range.

How long have you been interested in magic?

I guess from school age & I used to sell a little 'Find the lady' card trick and a vanishing thimble at my school made from very simple materials. My Mum was a Londoner & my intro to the Magic shop was in Gamages in Holborn London around the age of 9.

Take us through your show – what can we expect?

We provide more than one style. A typical family show may include a small Stage illusion like 'The Matrix' or funny guillotine routine if space allows, Audience Comedy participation with say a spectator and a borrowed item which may vanish, be destroyed or altered, only to turn up again restored in an impossible location. Fun & Illusion with my pet Rabbit & doves. See tried & tested routines like torn & restored Paper or other impossible visual magic to drop the jaws of onlookers. Walk around performance is deliberately low key & understated at weddings, yet often makes the biggest impression - due to it's ' under the nose' proximity. An example may be a sleight of hand stuff with a signed card which magically ends up in an item the spectator is holding. Other styles may have Mind reading, Horror & spooky, just done for laughs & Educational.

What do you love most about your job?

Obviously Reactions of surprise, wonder & laughter, sometimes emotional responses to the visual, poetic or even personal feelings elicited by a piece of mind reading or Mentalism. In my case most shows or Gigs are each different as we try to make our work fit as well as possible to the venue and individual personalities.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Worked for some years in the NHS, latterly in Psychiatry. This was stressful at the level I worked & Magic was a big hobby. I Joined a Performing circle which had a number of pro's in it in Preston. Some of these wonderful people encouraged me to think about performing professionally in the 80's & I had so brilliant role models to help me - So we made the jump from semi to full pro then. The Bank manager thought we where a bit mad to leave good job's to go on the road. However after 18 months we where resident in Camelot theme Park as Merlin & Morgana - the start of the journey proper.

Why should our clients choose you?

We are many years experienced, adaptable, inventive [ around your needs ] personable when interacting, yet formidable as a spectacle to view or try to 'work out'. Often funny, Low key when appropriate [ Weddings & Corporate ], yet able to create the larger vision to view [ Festival events & shows ] Just the stupidest, funniest, enjoyable & safe kids shows. And we personally want to do a good job - not just make money for old rope.
