I am a qualified Nurse who has worked in the NHS for over 20 years. Working in hospitals gave me the privilege to be the first person to receive patients and offer them care and support during their most difficult times. Most of the Patients I met, particularly the elderly, were coming to the hospital due to a breakdown of care in the community. I realised that if we have a well-set up, caring and dedicated care service in the community, the majority of these patients would very likely avoid hospitalisation and spending hours on trolleys.
Working in this environment gave me a great passion to start my Domiciliary Care Agency as I witnessed patients coming with pressure sores, falls, malnutrition, and generally unkempt. In most cases, these patients are admitted, treated, referred to District Nurses, and discharged back to their Homes or Nursing Homes.
Sometimes patients will be admitted directly from home with acopia, with no care package in place. Again the process of referral begins on the day of admission some families opt to arrange private care and some will go to nursing or residential homes depending on identified needs.
My vision and desire are to see the old and vulnerable, people with learning Disabilities, and People with Complex needs to be able to continue living quality life in their own homes, receiving quality care in their own homes without the need for a whole lifestyle change of moving into an institution due to failure of care. My Vision is not only to take care of our Service Users but to help them better their lifestyle.
Each Service User is supported through a structured care and support plan which is fully co-created with them.
We recognize the diversity and uniqueness of each Service User and work with you to develop a care plan that suits your lifestyle and specific requirements.
Our service is provided in Service Users' homes or any other place of their choosing.
Our staff are equipped with high-quality PPE and have been trained to continue to provide quality care.
