I've been having guitar lessons fortnightly with Ben for a few months now and he's a fantastic teacher. When I started I felt I was reasonably competent at playing chords and a few solo bits but wanted to improve on soloing and everything overall, and I've really seen an improvement in my abilities since having lessons with him. His lessons are nicely relaxed where we cover what I'd like if there is anything in particular I'd like help with or we go over different techniques which can be used and Ben thinks would help me, which really have helped to give me ideas what I can do to improve. I can tell he is really knowledgeable, giving me tips on more technical things to do with guitar like recording and using a digital interface and adding other instruments to build a song idea, and in general giving tips which could improve my playing or make things easier. I'd definitely recommend Ben as a guitar teacher and I really enjoy my lessons with him because he makes them fun.
