My sis brought me up on Prog Rock and it started a lifelong obsession with EVERYTHING music! I got a taste of workshopping and 1 to 1 tuition during my degree and subsequent job and I absolutely loved it! A few years later I got a job as a "music worker" with barnsley ymca where I thoroughly enjoyed using everything I had studied on my degree. These types of jobs are scarce and competition is fierce so I had no choice but to build up my own network as I was determined not to go back to office work.
I have lots of experience with many different agegroups, client groups and types of learners over the years. I have a firm but fun delivery style and like to encourage general musicality rather than just one instrument. I embrace new technology as it is exciting and I find it helps with engagement and accesibility.
