Emma has been a superb tutor during this difficult time she’s been in constant contact with support and ideas. I once was a face to face student moving to online sessions over FaceTime which has been a great.

I would highly recommend Emma to anyone wanting to learn guitar.

So far she’s helped with my timing (16th notes). Breaking down simple ways of learning each note on the fret board. Different strumming techniques, warm up exercises, basic solos working within timing and I’ve only had a handful of lessons.

Emma is very personable and a joy to learn from. She has a fantastic ability to teach, for me she simplified things that had baffled me for a long time, she has reignited my interest and I cannot wait for my next lesson.

Emma has always presented herself as a true professional. She was able to teach me keyboard skills to a high standard. Introduced to various such as GarageBand and Loopy, allowing me to play 2 handed material (I only have one arm) and create backing tracks.

Emma has taught our son for several years and he has progressed significantly in that time. Emma is an enthusiastic teacher and obviously takes a lot of pleasure from music and seeing her students progress. Emma has also been a great help when we upgraded to an electric drum kit and was able to advise what to look for and the best places to go. Doing lessons with Emma I've learn an insane amount of knowledge about guitar from different methods and techniques of strumming and vibrato and some song writing methods like scales and chord progression and even , straight up songs. She has taught me both rhythm and lead gutair techniques and introduced me to new music genres and bands which have helped inspire me out of lesson to practise. The flexibility with learning what I wanted such as if I had a song I wanted to learn also helped keep me interested and entertained by the learning process. The friendliness and care given by Emma also makes the lesson seem very personal and not at all scary to play in front of people and their also makes the lessons much more fun as it allows there to be banter between us. Emma is a great guitar tutor and has allowed me to learn new skills and most importantly has taught me to learn guitar and keeps me interested in the learning by making each lesson different and teaching new things every time and also by giving tasks to complete whilst out of lesson to keep me playing and practising. Emma is teaching my 11 year old to play the guitar. He is loving it. Emma makes it fun and interesting. She explains everything well and makes written notes for him about what he has learnt and what to practice ready for the next lesson.

Emma is very engaging and is helping my 11 year old daughter fulfil her potential.
