I am a full time guitarist and teacher with over 40 years as a professional. I have played in the UK, USA, Canada, Peru, Russia and Europe. I teach several instruments and styles but specialise in Guitar and Jazz, Blues, Rock and Classical to professional level. I have vast experience also supporting GCSE and A Level, as well as Diploma, University and College students. I am happy to teach any style through all grades from beginner to a very high level and to any willing student.

When I was learning guitar, I was lucky enough to have been taught by some outstanding teachers and I think that fun and interesting teaching is fundamental in helping every musician to realise their talent and potential. I grew up in a very musical household and have participated in music/music making from a very young age. I began guitar tuition at the age of 8, with an emphasis on classical guitar playing, and took up electric guitar a few years later.
