He is patient and always brings Jays tastes into what he learns.. Jay never has boring homework that he can't complete. Started lessons with MGTB just over 6 months ago. Really impressed with the quality of their handouts and the progress I have made over the 6 months. I've been studying my favourite songs on the guitar and have been learning music theory alongside also. Interested to see where the next 6 months takes me. My son has had his second lesson with Rich and loved it. He told me "I liked it as it was fun, I learned new things like the parts of the guitar and the proper names and the music notes, I liked the rhyme Rich told me. Rich was really nice and he asked me what music I liked, I can't wait to play Micheal Jackson. I am looking forward to next week now"

I would defiantly recommend as very professional and really good at simplifying info to age appropriate level, great money well spent :)

My Son has been having lessons with Henry for a year. I really can’t recommend him highly enough. He is completely professional, approachable and most of all fun and listens to what the child wants to learn. My son, who has anxiety issues, was even able to build up his confidence enough to do his Grade 1 exam and he gained a Merit!

Great teacher, very patient as I never knew a chord, not even the names of parts of the guitar and not very confident in myself let alone even playing in front of someone, still not played in front of anyone else apart from rich but sure I would be a lot more confident now then when I started 10 months ago

My daughter has lessons with Henry. She loves them. Henry has a very good contact with Ella and keeps her very motivated. Only after three lessons Ella was able to play a simple tune, which sounds like a miracle keeping in mind that during her first lesson she couldn't even hold the guitar properly or press a string for more than a few seconds as it was too painful for her . Richard has been teaching me for 5 yrs now, he comes to my house and i am learning the acoustic guitar. He shows me respect and listens to my opinions whilst maintaining the teacher/ pupil relationship and i now see him as my friend, he even manages to get us all together once a year to do a showcase of all his pupils work- and we get to see his brilliant band ' freeze'
When i want to learn a new song he will 'tab' it out for me, and we learn it together, i also sing some songs and Richard actively encourages this. He is always encouraging us to do talent shows and gigs, but never to pushy. I have recommended him to my friends, he is brilliant, a very gifted guitarist. He has got me up to grade 5 with RGT.

Rich has been teaching my son now for about 18 months and am really impressed by how much he has learnt already. My son is 10 and thinks Rich is 'cool' as he plays in a band and is young, I'm impressed by the fact he keeps it interesting by working songs my son likes into the lessons and he is patient, but professional.

Rich is an extremely amazing teacher and even better guitarist. Hes helped me become a more accurate and better sounding guitar player who adapts to my kind of music and always offers great advice. Rich taught my son for a few years. He always set out great lesson plans, and listened to what my son was listening to, to incorporate these songs into the lessons to make them more enjoyable. I can't recommend him enough. He is aways patient and positive, and brings this into each lesson. My son didn't want to be graded, just learn for enjoyment and this was never a problem. Fantastic, supportive and really good fun guitar lessons ! Since having lessons with Rich, I really have improved over such a short period of time, more so than I thought possible.
The lesson content and handouts are of really great quality, even learning to play your favourite songs, Rich can help you do this.
