Unfortunately, we'd been messed about by another decorating firm before we discovered Alix - and so already over budget. However, guarded and furious with workmen in general, we were both relieved and delighted when we were given Alix's details by a lady colleague of my wife. Extremely presentable, professional and personable, we immediately found Alix to be good as his word on all accounts - completing our whole house cleanly, competently and well within time (before our family holiday, so quite a stressful time!). A particularly nice touch is his 'aftercare' - contacting us 3 months afterwards to ensure that we were pleased with the finish (beautiful!) and with his service overall - which, in my experience, is second to none. We could not fault his expertise (particularly as ours is a large period property that requires a lot of understanding and sympathetic workmanship), his diligence (extraordinarily hard-working for a tradesman!) and his dedication to the task. I felt completely comfortable leaving him to it, knowing that everything we wanted done would be taken care of! I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him to another home (or business) owner - and when we have our kitchen and downstairs lounge refitted next year, Alix will be one of the first people I call. I asked Leila to paint rooms in my flat and she did a wonderful job. She has great attention to detail, she's very tidy and well organised. She was also very helpful with paint choice and she went out of her way to get the colour I wanted from local vendor when it wasn't available online.

We've used Brighton Decor a few times and wouldn't use another decorating firm now. They are reliable, hard working and provide an immaculate finish. And they're a pleasure to have in your home.

Matt was practical, able and willing to turn his hand to all our handyman jobs. He replaced the garage rear door and fixed problems whilst giving practical advice. He has an open, easy-going personality, charged the going rate and seemed totally trustworthy 10/10.

Bob was always punctual, and cracked on with the job. He was both quick and efficient, and all the work he did looked great once finished. Would happily recommend.
