‘19 Certificate of Excellence

Well behaved dogs are not born, they are trained and training can start from the very first day you bring your new puppy home. We offer a truly personalised service to fit with your family and your valuable time, all in the comfort of your own home. As we only offer 121 training, we concentrate on you and your puppy’s needs and unlike training classes we have no need to wait for vaccinations before training can begin. Our aim is to make a difference by delivering modern, science-based, positive reward training using ‘The Clever Dog Company Method’ to ensure that you have a puppy who grows into a dog to be proud of; preventing behavioural problems so you don’t have to face the stress, damage and heartache that these can cause. We don’t just work with puppies either. Whether you have a Labrador or a Cocker Spaniel, a Chihuahua or a Great Dane, a Beagle or a Border Collie, a Labradoodle or a Cockerpoo, a puppy, a rescue dog, an adolescent or an older dog we have a bespoke training package that delivers results.

What do you love most about your job?

Seeing the bond between owner and dog grow as they train together and learn to understand each other. Helping an anxious dog to overcome their triggers and to begin to enjoy life while supporting the owner learning new methods of managing their dog.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Relationships take time to build and develop and that is just as true with our relationships with our puppies and dogs. Sometimes, those relationships need a helping hand to overcome difficulties and for bonds to grow on strong foundations. Helping owners whether with a new puppy, an older dog with some problems or a new rescue is the foundation and inspiration for my business. Delivering training in the home environment, focussing on the needs of a client and their dog and building a relationship with both owner and dog is for me key to successful, lasting training.

Why should our clients choose you?

All programmes are designed for the client and their dog and are delivered using modern, scientifically based training methods which deliver results but are kind, fair and effective. We use no force, no fear and no pain to train.
