I’m an award winning balloon twister and face painter located in Surrey. I enjoy balloon modelling and face painting at fetes, schools, parties, celebrations and corporate events. I have been balloon twisting for around 20 years. In the last 6 years I have entertained at many parties, charity events, fetes, the local church, schools (including nurseries) and large family events. I’ve also placed 1st and 2nd place in the UKs biggest balloon convention and travelled around the world teaching other balloon artists. I also enjoy teaching the art of balloon models. I have taught many children how to make their very own balloon dog and Octopus out of balloons. I'm also a huge fan of painting and being able to paint faces has given me and my customers wonderful entertainment.
I love creating sculptures with balloons for people. The joy a simple balloon dog can give is priceless. However when I add a few more balloons it can leave a guest speechless.
Painting brings me so much joy, it fulfils my need to be creative. I have always loved art and it was my favourite subject.
I first got into balloon twisting when a clown couldn’t make me a balloon crown, he gave me a parrot on a swing and wrote ‘princess' on it. I was so happy I smiled all day. I wanted to learn more and how he did it, so my parents bought me a balloon kit shortly after. It was then I knew this was a hobby I could enjoy. Add a few years and I love that my hobby is now my business and I get to share the fun with others.
Face painting came about when my daughter was little. I often painted her faces for occasions and we both enjoyed that bonding time.
