Windows and doors have been part of our family for generations. Our grandparents started their maintenance and window and door business in 1984, and today we are proud to be the third generation working within the industry. In fact, the fourth generation is already taking a keen interest in the business and learning the values that have helped our family succeed for over 40 years.

By establishing Window City, we wanted to continue the legacy that our grandparents began all those years ago, albeit through our own business. Their dedication to quality workmanship, customer service, and building a trusted local reputation has inspired everything we do today.

For us, it's about more than just installing windows and doors. It's about building a business that keeps customers happy, maintains a strong reputation within the industry, and provides the continuity and reassurance that homeowners can rely on for years to come.

Our installation teams hold CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards, demonstrating their commitment to professional standards and safe working practices.

Absolutely. We can carry out much of the initial quotation process remotely, allowing customers to receive guidance and pricing without the need for an immediate home visit. By using photographs, measurements, and discussions via email or telephone, we can often provide an initial estimate quickly and conveniently.

One of the biggest advantages of this approach is that it removes any sense of pressure or urgency. Our customers can take their time to consider their options from the comfort of their own home, without feeling obligated to commit to an appointment.

That said, we also recognise that a face-to-face visit can be beneficial for both ourselves and the customer, particularly when discussing design options, technical details, or more complex projects. We're therefore happy to work in whatever way suits you best - whether that's via email, over the phone, through a home appointment, or a combination of all three.

While COVID-19 is no longer the concern it once was, the health and wellbeing of our customers remains important to us.

We understand that many of our customers may have underlying health conditions or may be at an age where illnesses such as colds, flu, or other contagious viruses can have a greater impact. For that reason, we continue to take a common-sense approach to customer safety.

If a member of our team is unwell with a contagious illness, we will always be honest and upfront about it and, where necessary, rearrange appointments rather than attend simply for the sake of business. We believe this is the respectful and responsible thing to do for our customers and their families.

At the heart of our approach is consideration and transparency. We treat our customers as we would want our own family members to be treated, ensuring they feel comfortable and respected throughout every stage of the process.
