What do you love most about your job?
The diversity - we work with businesses of all shapes and sizes of all sectors from national brands like Papa Johns to local attractions including Westonbirt to local small businesses including hair salons and restaurants. Every day is different and we love the relationships we have with our clients.
Also with digital marketing trends change all the time so we can never possibly get bored.
I also personally love the flexibility of running a digital business, being control of my own destiny and being able to work effectively from anywhere.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I lived in Bristol and worked in Swindon at a local media agency and was astonished that there was only truly useful local online information sources in London at the time and even those were just focussed on either what's on or business.
Just because you run a business, doesn't mean you just want to find local business news, right? You want to find where to go for sunday lunch, local events, where to take the kids a the weekend but also where the local networking events are.
A health scare gave me the kick I needed to put my ideas in to action, the idea was born in Autumn 2011 and the first Total Guide to site went live in March 2012.

Yes, we have staff across the South West and you can either have face to face visit with staff, Zooms or fully remote - whatever suits clients individual needs.

We work from a Hybrid office and only need to meet face to face if preferred.
