Stewart is a highly skilled craftsman. He was incredibly attentive listening carefully to our requirements, ensuring that he completely understood our requirements and sending a detailed drawing before any contract was made. Throughout the work he kept us informed of progress with photos.
The kelim covered stool was completed in about 3 weeks. It is very sturdy and looks stunning. Stewart was a joy to deal with throughout the process. He was always easy to get hold of if we had questions and contacted us to agree finer points of detail during the work. I commissioned Stewart in July 2025 to renovate my recently bereaved mother in laws dining suite and sideboard which was approximately 40 years old.

I contacted Stewart Linford Furniture because I needed a bookcase for an awkward space and it had to be made to order. Stewart could not have been more helpful. I provided photos and sizing details and obtained a quote. As this was beyond my budget, Stewart suggested another wood and the bookcase arrived today, carefully wrapped and delivered with a smile by a helpful courier. Having had quotes from other furniture manufacturers who could not do various things like curved corners etc, Stewart came to the rescue and produced a really professional bespoke 4 metre set of wardrobes for my hall, he is not cheap but then when others were unable to produce to the drawing I gave them its worth the extra to get a quality product.

After a lot of debate regarding the pros-cons of built in vs. freestanding, we recently engaged Stewart to design and build three beautiful wardrobes for us out of walnut with a contrasting oak interior. It was a protracted process (on our side) but Stewart was proactive and patient throughout. He went out of his way to visit us numerous times and always came equipped with ideas and solutions. Stewart made us a bespoke extending dining table.
