STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.....My wife and I bought a handmade Vispring Woolcombe model mattress from John Lewis store in 2019, paying a very high price and trusting the 30-year warranty. After seven years Last week, a technical staff from the furniture repair company Emmiera group ltd that Vispring has a contract with, checked the bed technically. Either this technical staff does not understand this business or he was on the side of Vispring.Because he managed to reduce the depressions in our bed, which we measured as 8cm, to 3cm, and he reported that the bed was very healthy, ignoring the lump in the middle of the bed, the collapses and the slope on the side where me and my wife slept.They should have made a seat belt to avoid falling off the bed because of the lump formed in the middle of the bed, the depressions at the edges and the slope.Note: We used the bed in accordance with the instructions and I added a photo of Emmiera Group's report stating that the mattress base is suitable. Some how the company can test for broken or damaged springs without opening the mattress. Using a level on a bed seems to work for them to wiggle out any claims made.

Excellent service. Amazing updates on appointment time the day before the appointment, and great customer care when arranging the appointment in the first place. The appointment was great. He turned up and put shoe covers on to protect our carpet, I always find this a great indicator of someone that take care and pride in the service.The knowledge he showed on how sofas are designed and made was first class, and really made the options available to us clear. Can only book Tuesday to Thursday appointments. Will only tell you after 6:30pm the night before what time they are turning up. Not worker friendly, most people have to book time off in advance… Got a text and email that someone would be round between 7:30-9.19 am , sat waiting, 9 o’clock hits, no one turned up. Check my emails, to see they had emailed @7am to say they are cancelling the appointment and someone will call shortly. Morning wasted and work has been disrupted, and no one had called to re book. They could send me a text the night before but fail to send one when they cancelled the appointment. All of this for a 5 minute look at a broken bed frame that I could send them pictures and videos of and not waste my time. Wouldn’t use this company if I actually had a choice. More...

Be wary, customer services replied that spot cleans of the riser recliner would be part of the paid for 'service' but the engineer corrected me on his visit that this is an additional charge to be completed later (£200 + VAT). Maybe I was being too optimistic and misheard the sales person when I made the booking. The riser recliner chair repair was quoted at £440 + VAT. I questioned the addition of VAT via a few email exchanges, and initially was told this is part of the fee, then it's in addition and I still have to reply back the third time to say this item should be VAT exempt and sent them a link to the government website confirming this. Only then was I told VAT wouldn't be charged. I mean, how many able-bodied people would have a RISER recliner in their home that is clearly for an elderly person. Given sales staff were told beforehand that mum is bedbound and reliant on two carers and a hoist and so please don't book a visit before 10am as she is washed in bed then (The engineer still came early but the carers kindly came at 8am to bypass this).Please ensure you question the VAT addition on your invoices from this company. Im going to be "that person" but if I could leave negative stars I would!!The mobile technicians are unprofessional, rude and apply very little workmanship! We took out a guardsman policy against a sofa purchased from oak furniture land. We have activated the policy on only 2 occasions. The first the technician left the job half finished but we never saw them again.The second time was to only assess the work that needed to be done. The man who came was in and out in 2mins and said very little to me (a blessing in disguise.....) a few weeks later I got an email saying that they would not be coming round to complete any work to my sofa as it has been reported as "mistreated"Several weeks of back and forth email confirming I am who I say I am and giving my inner leg measurements (you know what I mean) they offer to send round another technician for a second opinion. This is where it all went wrong.The man showed up half an hour early with no prewarning then offered to rearrange the appointment as i wasnt home but only 5 mins away...."its only half an hour, whats half an hour" he said to my 17yr old autistic son.I arrived home, my son had let him in so he was in my living room. I said hello, sorry about that. I was ignored. He then proceeded to tell me that my sofa was filthy, stained and in an appalling state!! This is when I asked him to leave my home. He called me rude and angry. We exchanged our opinions on the matter before he told me that he was officially voiding my policy personally!!I have never been spoken to in my own home so badly! As soon as he left i called my husband and burst into tears. My husband called the company and spoke to a lady who was very apologetic and sympathetic and explained to him what the next steps would be in regards to opening an officially compliant!Im writing this review for no other reason than the hope that noone else has to put up with this man being so vile and unprofessional. Had a technician out cause I’ve got damage to the corner of my table and the bottom has gone rusty .The technician said the damage was due to someone turning the ceramic table on its side ( it’s a very heavy table and have trouble to even try and move it ). We had a work man in to fix a cupboard the technician said he had done it ,he only had a screwdriver on him .When buying the table I felt pressured into taking accidental policy out cause it covers everything.This is not the case cause they are saying in so many words tough we are not doing anything about it.The only reason I was able to buy this table was because my son passed away suddenly and left some money.I await your reply More...

From requesting information of the problem, listening, discussing and arranging required parts to be delivered and booking the technicians visits, Emmiera could not have more professional. All the personal involved took time to explain, what is and what has been done with a very pleasant manner. Booking visits very easy and convenient and time slots given day before were kept. Really great service and consistently helpful. I got in touch on behalf of my sister-in-law when her phone screen stopped working the day before she was due to go on holiday, and the gentleman sorted it out so quickly for her. My screen had completely gone and I was due to go on holiday the next day. My sister in law called on my behalf, explaining the situation. Dropped the phone off at 2pm and got it back fully fixed by 4pm!! The staff that served me was wonderful, I was reasonably charged and he even gave me a phone case to prevent further accidents. The "inspector" had a shocking attitude, made me feel uncomfortable in my own home. His outcome was that my sofa only required new covers, he even scoffed that most companies would not see it as an issue, he went on to state that he would be back in a couple of weeks to fit new covers. I shortly received an email directly from them stating that they would be sending the new covers to my home without my agreement (clearly no report sent to Oak Furniture Land), this act would fall under solicited goods. The sofa was clearly faulty, this was later agreed by Oak Furniture Land who have since collected the faulty goods and issued me with a full refund. So after having to rebook the appointment 3 times as it seems they are unable to read a message. They agreed to come at 12:30 or later, the inspector then turned up at 12:10 ! He was in the house for less than 5 minutes and agreed there was a fault with the mattress. I then got a email from costco today saying they had found no manufacturing faults and wouldn't be replacing it. This is not what I was told by the inspector, these guys do nothing but lie and he clearly turned up early in hope that he wouldn't get a answer, the same as other reviews have said. Went to the showroom looking for a media wall and instantly decided to have one. They worked around me for dates which was amazing. The day came for fitting and it was so smooth. Two of the most friendliest chaps who couldn't do enough for us. Terrible service and terrible customer service. Ordered new sofas , took 3 months to build and get delivered . Finally got delivered and they were missing integral components which meant they were bowed inwards . So another 2 months of not being able to use them and all they could muster up was a piece of wood under each sofa to temporarily fix it and allow us to sit on them carefully , and now we are waiting another 10 weeks until the parts are delivered and fitted . Feel absolutely ripped off. Paid the £84 inspection fee clearly depicting what the issue was before the inspection. I also sent a picture of the bed frame that was damaged to only have the inspector turn up to the house for less than 10 minutes to say they couldn't fix it. They mentioned they will try contact the manufacturer to obtain the part that is needed however they made no attempt of doing this. It would of been much better to mention via the initial phone call that absolutely no assistance could be provided rather than misleading people with the prospect of helping and leaving you no better off than you started with £84 less...
