We had an amazing night at Tivoli with Martin. He involved us in the gig, we borrowed instruments and played them (badly) and he indulged in more than one “one more”. Great night!

Martin John made the finishing touch to our wedding day! Martin was informative, helpful and so great at adapting to our wishes throughout the wedding preparations. It was excellent getting a live demo for each of our ceremony pieces, which made us feel very relaxed and excited for our day. Martin provided the music for my 40th birthday party over the weekend and I am so incredibly pleased I hired him for it. He was absolutely brilliant in the run up to the party, communicating with me about the music I wanted months in advance (he provided a survey for me to fill in with what sort of experience I wanted my party to be) and was incredibly professional and very warm and friendly. If I need a DJ for future events I will definitely ask Martin again. Martin hosted our wedding evening reception disco on 27/04/24 and he was everything we could have wanted and more. His enthusiasm, ability to accommodate specific requests of ours (not just music, but prior to the event asking for shout outs/themed song blocks at certain parts of night), reading the dancefloor, his friendly manner, and overall he is a fantastic person you can trust.

He was on time, set up without any worry, and played our specific playlist only which was exactly what we wanted.

We were so grateful to have Martin facilitate our wedding, and we will certainly be using Martin again. Would strongly recommend for all occasions.

We booked Martin and his colleague at short notice for our Presidents day at Huntingdon Rugby Club. The guys were fantastic and put an exclamation mark at the end of a great day. Not only brilliant singers and musicians they understood the crowd and once the first dancers took the floor they didn't sit down for the 3 hour set. Reflecting back on 2023 and those that had the biggest impact. Martin played at our wedding at Sheene Mill, Melbourn in October and was outstanding. Martin did some instrumental piano pieces during ceremony and then acoustic guitar. Also played during the wedding breakfast and disco and joined in with the band. I'm not sure where to start. We booked Martin as one of our first vendors and was absolutely fantastic. From the get, Martin was really engaged and made sure all our boxes were ticked. Even accommodated our last-minute changes with ease and took off a lot of stress. The whole day was so smooth with regard to music and sound. We asked Martin to sing the main song for the bridal walk and accommodate a guest to sing during the ceremony (arranged prior consultation with the guest), help me sing a song for my wife (encouraged me when the nerves kicked in), and well as all the MC tasks. Superb work and all the guests loved the music during the disco session. Thank you for the great work, definitely recommend Martin, and will most certainly book you again.

Martin has animated our wedding day with his singing accompanied of his guitar as well as Dj'ing during the night. It was just magical! He created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day which everyone enjoyed including ourselves. He managed to accomodate our european music requests by including them in a more english speaking playlist which was amazing. His performance, energy and kindness just made our wedding magical to us. We booked Martin for our wedding and what can I say, he did not disappoint. From the start to finish the whole process was so smooth amid the constant changes. Everything we asked for was catered for, and not only that it was done with passion and joy, which made our day and evening even more enjoyable. The bridal entance song was performed acoustically, beautiful, and the music matched the theme and setting. All the MCing for the day which again was done so well, kept the guests entertained and laughing. As a special surprise, I asked Martin to help me sing a song to my new wife and he not only helped but also motivated me to do and it was really good, everyone enjoyed it and sang along. Finally, the music for the reception. All the set up was also completed smoothly, we do not know when but it was set up ready to go, coordination with the photographer to ensure it went smoothly. Martin provided he services for my wedding this week and he was absolutely amazing.
He had brilliant communication leading up to our event to get a feel of the music and style we wanted.
His live sets were brilliant. It was an amazing atmosphere with him singing and playing the guitar then later on, the keyboard. It was just so perfect and made the day feel magical with live singing and music.
All of my guests commented at how lovely it was and what a lovely touch having live music was.
Martins timings were perfect and everything on the day just flowed so well.

We hired Martin with really short notice and he was brilliant. He was able to source the music that we wanted, and was highly adaptable on the fly, but alway make sure we were happy with any changes first. It was so perfect. Martin also did the Anniversary Dance Game, which he didn't know before but learnt and which went smoothly. For that Game I had also requested a song which wasn't going to long enough and he was able to source another which went with the first choice to enable songs to be played for the whole game. 10/10 would highly recomend Martin More...

MJM provided a brilliant nights entertainment at Ely City Golf Club. Always a worry when you haven't used someone before but it was great. Would thoroughly recommend.

We hired him for my mother’s birthday celebrations in November and from the start he was friendly and professional, asked what kind of genres of music we liked, kept in tough re times and requirements. On the night of the party Martin turned up early, set up a brilliant set with lights and speakers. Martins live music is wonderful, he has an amazing voice and the set was something for everyone, young and old! In between live music sets Martin played all the music we has suggested. During the second live music set Martin involved the crowd, with instruments and laughs it got everyone involved, the children particularly enjoyed this. By the end of the evening the dance floor was full, everyone commented on how good he was and it made a special night even better. Martin made our wedding
Every single one of our guests commented on how amazing he was. We had Martin all day, he sang and played guitar during our drinks reception, played piano during our wedding breakfast, DJ’d in the evening and played live sets to get our guests on the dance floor. That is exactly what it did, the dance floor was full, everyone had an amazing time and everyone commented on how incredible he was. We asked Martin to sing an acoustic version of our first dance, which our wedding video will be set to and he did such an amazing job of it. We hired Martin for our wedding in June 2022 and can't recommend him highly enough. We had him there all day and really worked him hard, playing classical music on the grand piano prior to the ceremony and pop songs afterwards, then more pop songs on the guitar all afternoon and finally DJing in the evening until the end of the night. Of all the people we dealt with in arranging our wedding, Martin was by far the friendliest and best at communication, discussing what we wanted and what he thought would work better from his experience. On the day he was adaptable, switching to playing the guitar outside as it was a beautiful day, rather than indoors as we originally planned and even after playing for 2 hours in the blazing sun, he offered to play even longer as it was still such a lovely evening (an offer we gratefully accepted). Many of our guests commented on how good Martin was and how much they were enjoying his playing. We booked Martin for our wedding. We used all of his services piano and DJ. He was absolutely amazing! His piano playing in the church set the right mode. During our wedding breakfast his piano playing was really nice to hear. Even in a sort notice he prepared a play list for our drinks reception. He is a fantastic DJ. We were so impressed by Martin who was the DJ at our special Safari themed birthday party at the Wisteria Hotel in Oakham. He provided a mixture of great disco music with live singing and guitar playing which helped to make the party a magical event to remember. He had everyone joining in and up on the dance floor...and outside for the Conga!
