We had the pleasure of having Joe perform at our wedding at Moat Hall Barns, Shrewsbury, on 28th May 2026. Joe performed both an acoustic set and a DJ set, and he was absolutely fantastic. He had a brilliant feel for the room, whether it was getting people onto the dance floor or performing acoustic songs outside, which set the scene beautifully. Joe was one of the standout highlights of our wedding, with all of our guests commenting on how great he was. He completely exceeded our expectations, and we are so glad we chose him. The most incredible, emotion filled musician. Joe is wonderful, his gritty rawness in his vocals, really gives you goosebumps. He filled our wedding with just the most perfect vibe. I was crying before I even went down the aisle because played and sang my entrance song better than I ever could have imagined. All day he was just a vibe. Joe, you’re a true talent. We chose Moat Hall Barns as our venue as it was really important to have our day personal to us, and wow didn’t Joe work hard to make that happen! We first saw Joe performing at one of their open days and he was fantastic, but not only that, so friendly too. Furthermore, a nice set up for the DJ booth was really important to us as we wanted it to compliment the venue and seeing this in place on the open day solidified it for us. We then saw Joe again at the Christmas party at the venue in 2023 and we were confident we had made a great choice. All the communications with Joe leading up to the wedding were fabulous, and he was nothing but helpful despite no doubt having the busiest calendar! We provided a very long Spotify list of our favourite songs for the DJ part of the evening and gave him an idea of the songs we liked for the acoustic part too from his list, but we could not have anticipated how incredible it would have turned out. The sun came out for the acoustic part of the day and all the guests were outside enjoying the music and dancing and it was just amazing. Our guests have all been raving about how that was the best part of the day and this made us so happy as we were concerned about the lull you sometimes get between the meal and the evening starting, I can assure you, there was no lull with Joe there! Whilst he went to set up for the DJ part he put on my ‘country’ playlist that I’d asked for (I couldn’t fit that in anywhere else in the day!), meaning not even at this part was there a break where people weren’t being entertained. Oh wow, where do we start !! To say you made our wedding is an understatement. We knew having you preform throughout our whole day and night was going to be awesome but I don't think we realised just how much of huge part of our day you/ your role played until in the moment! ! You created the most uplifting and inviting atmosphere for our guests on arrival which then led to the perfectly timed ceremony songs, creating such a loving and (happy) emotional feeling through the whole barn. Every guest said how your music complimented every aspect of our service and the happy vibe inside was beautiful. Your choice of songs suited every age range and music styles of all our guests and everyone commented on how talented and amazing you were. In the short breaks you took, guests that chatted to you said what a truly nice guy you were ☺️ The unexpected Baby shark and Wheels on the bus moment was such a thoughtful touch for our littlest guests which created some of our most precious memories on the day which we have some beautiful photos of 🥰 Your Dj service was great fun and got people up off their seats dancing and you didn’t fault once on the strict timing instructions for our first dance which went perfectly. The transitions between your services and our band were seamless and we really enjoyed your acoustic set at the end of the night making it very personal for myself and Steve and the few guests left standing haha Honestly Joe you really did make our day and we are just so pleased we booked you, we can’t thank you enough. Joe played at mine and my husbands wedding recently and we couldn’t rate him any higher! His communication ahead of the day was fantastic, and he was very accommodating for every request we had. Joe really took the time to discuss how the day would work etc which was really helpful. We had an intimate seaside wedding with our closest family and friends and we had an idea of what we wanted. Music played a massive part of our planning and so it was so important to get the right musician. We saw Joe play at my Nieces wedding year before and knew he would be perfect. There's perfect and there's PERFECT.. Joe was incredible, we could not have wished for a better experience. Joe was easy to work with and accommodated all of our wishes and added his own suggestions. We had the please of having Joe at our wedding. We had met up before hand to discuss various things, we discussed how we were going for a ‘chilled family vibe’, and on the day he nailed it! Joe played at our wedding in April and he was simply fantastic! All of our guests said how amazing he was, he helped create such a chilled vibe for the day.

Joe kept in touch in the run up to the wedding and was very accommodating (through Covid lockdowns!). He has a fantastic set list to choose from catering for all tastes.

Absolutely amazing! We had Joe at our wedding in May 2021 at our ceremony and drinks reception. Everyone absolutely loved Joe and his choice of songs for the day. From the minute we heard Joe performing at an open day at Rowton Castle we fell in love with his music and his vibe - he is absolutely perfect for so many occasions not just weddings! With only a weeks notice I asked Joe if it would be possible to make a song from a poem that I wrote to my wife on our wedding day. Joe entertained my guests at my virtual 60th birthday party (on Zoom). His varied repertoire was enjoyed by all ages.

Joe played at our wedding in September 2020. From the moment we enquired with Joe, he was professional and supportive of our wishes, and with Covid, this was especially much more important. We cannot thank Joe enough for the music he played during the day and into the evening, it simply made the day so much more special. He went above and beyond with what we had expected, and even learnt some new songs that we had requested! He catered for every guest, from a 18month toddler to a 85 yr old Grandparent! He was just wonderful. Everyone loved all the music he played, and we had so many compliments of how talented and great Joe was. Joe played at our wedding at Dumbleton Hall last weekend. Wow. What a performance !!! Totally brilliant from start to finish and it made our day completely special.
