What do you love most about your job?
What I enjoy most about my job is the variety—no two sites or clients are ever the same. I love being out on-site, seeing new places, and problem-solving in real time. Every project brings its own challenges, and finding the right surveying solution to suit each client’s needs keeps the work interesting and rewarding.
But above all, it’s about helping people. Whether it’s giving someone clarity on a boundary issue or providing the groundwork for a major development, I enjoy knowing that the work we do at Emerald Surveys plays a part in making their plans possible. That’s what keeps me motivated.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working in the surveying industry for over 10 years, I started Emerald Surveys with a simple goal: to offer a more tailored, client-focused approach to surveying.
Too often, I saw surveys delivered without really understanding what the client needed—or how the results would be used. I wanted to change that.
