I engaged Debbie’s services online x2 weekly at Easter of this year 2025, following a disappointing second round of mocks and parents evening. This was in some respect quite late compared to others but Debbie was accommodating and delivered an intensive programme, up until English Lit and Lang GCSEs were sat. Having lost most of year 10 English to cover teaching a grade 3 in both Lit and Lang had been achieved in mocks prior to Debbie’s services. I am pleased to report that yesterday my daughter gained a level 5 in GCSE Lit and 4 in GCSE Lang - the passes she needed in a subject she had come to loathe. Debbie helped her construct her answers and gave her confidence something she was very low on in this subject. I also found that Debbie’s feedback and marking was consistent with her Teacher’s which was reassuring to learn. Thank you Debbie for being so accommodating and helping our daughter achieve the results she needed but also improve her overall grades as her writing impacted on her Geography GCSE that also improved significantly from a possible fail to a grade 6. German Translation
Researching family history, came across a document from WW2 about my uncle who was a soldier who died on the battlefield. The documents were written in old German . Got in touch with Debbie sent docs by e-mail, next day received e- mail with translation and on the afternoon Debbie contacted me by phone to explain in more detail and if I had any further questions. She was able to answer all my questions with professional answers. I would recommend Debbie to any one she is fast and excellent at what she does. I would mark her 5 Star plus if it was there. Debbie is so so lovely, each week she sets some stuff for me to go over and i send her voice notes of my working and she sends me feedback throughout the week between lessons its really helpful as i feel like i am always learning even between the lesson breaks. In lessons they are always tailored to what i need to learn specifically to pass onto the next level and she has the perfect worksheets to complement it which is something you cannot do by yourself. i would 100% recommend Debbie for tutoring! I started my own tutoring business in 2017 so that I could focus on the individual and create a learning experience that would be tailor-made for each student.

Primary School Tutoring (ages 4-11)
My lessons are tailored to meet your child's specific needs. I offer English and Maths teaching, help with phonics, literacy, and numeracy for Years 3-6, and preparation for Year 6 SATS tests. My Maths lessons cover reasoning and arithmetic skills, as well as individual topics such as fractions, decimals, and percentages. I also share all resources from Twinkl and White Rose Maths for review and homework tasks.
GCSE English language and literature
English language and literature lessons for students in Years 7-11 who require support in developing their confidence in this area of the curriculum. For those preparing for GCSE English language or literature, I can provide numerous tips and strategies for improving grades in analysing language, comprehending complex texts, and using grammar correctly.
French lessons: beginner to advanced.
This course focuses on building confidence in speaking French, whether you’re preparing for a holiday or planning a move to France.
