We had a gas fire service and a reinstall of a fire surround. This was not a straight foward job. James came out initially to have a look. Gave excellent suggestions. Very knowledgable. On the day of the work, James and Russ came out on time, completed the gas fire service to a very high standard, and the surround was fitted how it was originally intended. We recently contacted Coles for Fires for help in removing a wax stain from our stone mantelpiece. Communication with Katie via email was friendly and helpful. The engineer arrived on time and was friendly and efficient. He worked really hard and did a great job of removing the stain by sanding the stonework. Everything was left clean and tidy. Booked Coles to carry out a service of our wood burner and chimney sweep.The engineer arrived on time, was very friendly and efficient. He explained that our wood burner had not been properly installed by the house builders, and so rectified the issues.Left everything very clean when the work was completed.All contact with the shop in Oakham, and via phone and email has also been very friendly and efficient. We have been very well pleased with our choice of 'Coles for Fires'. It is nice to get a home visit and a free estimate together with good informed advice on the way forward. This was in early November, and Coles did everything possible to process our order and get it fitted in time for Christmas. The fitting process (by James) went well and he ensured there were dust sheets everywhere. There does not seem to be much he does not know about LPG gas fires! In essence, it all went very smoothly and we are delighted with the end result. Over the moon with our new electric fire. Such a professional job done. Had to have the gas fire taken out as it was so old. removed concrete to fit new electric fire in its place. Excellent work from James who came to service our Gazco Riva 2 800 gas fire. It was brilliantly installed by James and his colleagues 11 years ago. It has been serviced every year since. This year it needed some repair and the installation of some new ignition parts. The engineer from the Gazco Company came at great expense but didn’t know the cause of our problem and left. James immediately identified the cause and today returned to carry out the work. He had to dismantle completely the inner workings of the fire to gain access to replace the parts.
