Finch&Fisher helped us with the refurb of our wine bar back in February 2023.
They have done a fantastic transformation of the bar helping us from concept and design to the sourcing of the material and furniture (they funds some beautiful lights for us) to the entire execution of the project.
We were really impressed with the technique used to pain our ceiling and how the different colour pallets works beautifully together helping giving the place a unique look and feel and that special "je ne sais quoi".

We approached Finch & Fisher because of their commercial interior expertise. Having seen several of their restaurant and bar conversions i was keen to see what they could come up with for our Apart Hotel.
We weren't disappointed with the ideas and the final outcome. Original ideas, great colour schemes and brilliant little ideas and touches which i wouldn't of ever thought of. The whole space looks incredible.
We can't wait to open another Apart hotel and work with them both again. Not to mention they are both thoroughly nice chaps.

The moment a space stops being a set of drawings and becomes somewhere real. Whether it’s a commercial interior that changes how a business operates, or a bathroom renovation that transforms how someone starts their day - that shift from concept to lived experience is what drives everything.
I also genuinely love the problem-solving side: every project brings constraints, and working creatively within them is where the best design usually comes from.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’d spent years watching great design get diluted by poor process - beautiful concepts that never translated properly into the finished space. I started Canvas because I believed there was a better way: rigorous design thinking combined with real project discipline.
The ambition was to build a studio that clients could trust completely, from first conversation to final snag. That hasn’t changed.
