I wouldnt recommend this company,i have had them in to install a bathroom,flooding downstairs in the process.also had a boiler installed and was then told on the second service that there wasnt enough gas pressure,so a 28mm pipe had to be installed. tthe service has not been done properly and now have to get a different company in to clean and use inhibitor to.make it run properly.also the hole in the wall where the flute is attached was not fillid in.absolut joke of a company,to quick to take your money and on to the next job. We couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom and our experience with AF Bathroom & Heating from start to finish.Their initial design was far better than anything we received from big-name brands, we were surprised that it was the best price as well. The component quality in the showroom stood out, and knowing their fitters are in-house (not subcontractors like the rest) made the decision easy.Steve, our fitter, was excellent—always on time and hardworking, a natural grafter who clearly takes pride in his job. He kept us informed throughout and made sure we were happy every step of the way.The finished result… wow. Walking into the completed bathroom for the first time gave us a real sense of house pride and made us feel like we’d made the right choice. Had my bathroom renovated by AF. Lovely bathroom suite fitted. Sending my thanks to Harvey and Rich and the rest of the team. I will use AF again in the future for when our kitchen needs updating. On the initial visit, Mike created plans for the bathroom and sent across costs of items and cost of the job. All works were completed by the team including electrics, plumbing, plastering, flooring and waste disposal. The bathroom was completed in less than 2 weeks with minimal disruption. I had a shiny new boiler installed today after the 20 year old boiler I had started misbehaving a couple of weeks ago. I did some shopping around and came across these guys (worth doing as there are some dodgy people out there). Booking the installation was easy and didn't have to wait long to have it fitted. The boiler was fitted professionally and looks really good. Everything was explained to me on how it works (not too complicated!) I look forward to having a hot shower/bath every time, hopefully saving on my bills due to having an efficient system and I won't have to worry about being cold when winter comes. Matt and his team from AF were absolutely brilliant when they came to replace our old boiler. Confronted with a very old house with a very old system they steadily worked their way through all the obstacles they came across. Hugely impressed with everyone at AF. Especially Jeff who did most of the job and Steve who finished it off. Both are ultimate, skilled professionals but also lovely, kind people. My mum, who is in her nineties, somewhat worryingly had been climbing into her old jacuzzi bath to have a hand held shower. She agreed to the transformation to a proper shower room, as designed by Ashley, with stubborn reluctance but is absolutely delighted with the results. It looks like a super hotel room. A mixed review as the end result was a new boiler installed by a friendly and efficient engineer. However... I had to make an official complaint about the state my house was left in on both days of the work being carried out. I was not warned of the extent of wet muck, thick dust, debris and bits of broken floorboards left in every room they worked in. Even lunch rubbish was left for me to bin. Surely it's common sense to ask the client to move furniture and goods out of the room, or at least to cover up flooring and work surfaces, and to do a bit of cleaning up at the end of the day. But not only was my kitchen furniture used to put their dirty equipment on but I was left with hours of deep cleaning (on both days) and in the end repair work to skirting boards that had been left with a thick solid coating of brick cement. Luckily for this company my house was being renovated so the new flooring had not been installed, but if it had it would have been damaged with all the water and muck. Please AF Bathroom & Heating make sure your engineers respect and protect the clients property, it's a simple ask surely? More...
