Faced with a complete shutdown of our sites at the start of lockdown, OakenStone immediately reviewed all our working practices to ensure that we would be able to continue to work safely, protecting the health of our team and our clients. We closed our office to all staff and like many other companies, facilitated working from home. On-site, mask and hand washing protocols were introduced; sanitising stations were installed at the entrance to every site and at ‘pinch points’ on-site; and staff numbers were reviewed to minimise contact and to eliminate contact between sites. We are proud to say that we were able to work safely throughout the lockdown, keep our clients’ projects on track and successfully protect the health of everyone involved.
