Concept Design
The Concept Design is a key stage of any project. It is important that the concept design captures all of the influencing factors such as site, planning restrictions, low carbon or passivhaus targets and client requirements.
Close dialogue with our clients enables us to formulate design options through a process of discussion, sketching and 3D modelling. The initial design sets the parameters for the scheme design that follows.
As part of this stage we are able to advise on the planning process as well as provide negotiation with Planning Authorities through Pre-Application. This is to ensure that any applications are well resolved before they are submitted for approval.
Planning Applications
Following Concept sign off, we will prepare and submit a planning application on your behalf to the local authority. This will include developed design drawings and visuals but also detailed design and access statements. The practice has a 100% approval record of successful planning applications.
Technical design and Building Regulations
Once your planning application has been approved, we move forward to the technical design stage.
We provide detailed technical drawings and specifications and collaborate on the structural calculations. This information can be submitted for building control approval.
Interior Design
Alongside Planning Applications and Technical design packages, we can prepare Interior design schemes for your home. These can range from remodel and reconfiguration of layout to floor materials, furnishings, kitchens and bathrooms.
We develop the design scheme through intensive discussions with clients and present concepts through samples, mood boards and 3d visuals.
