4DS Drone Services

Hello there, 4DS Drone Services www.4dsdrone.com Tel07391 233647 is an independent small business providing a range of services; Give me quick call to discuss what you need I will be able to help and advise your next steps. • Aerial Promotional Videos and photography to promote your business or sale of your property. • Roof top inspection, “work smarter not harder” using drone technology rather than costly scaffolding to inspect the quality of your roof. • Real Estate photography and videography from the air to assist in selling your property • Measuring boundaries, creating digital elevation models, identifying landmarks, and inspecting assets are made easy by utilizing drone-based photogrammetry techniques. https://www.4dsdrone.com/ Why use a commercial drone pilot? A commercial pilot has to take a full training course, and be fully insured to fly commercially. This is a significant investment and it does end there. Flying a drone and taking a picture is easy. Maybe you as a customer want a photo for your website, or as stated on Bark billboard. Things to check before accepting a service from a drone operator. 1. Ask to see a copy of their license. A commercial drone pilot will not have an issue with this. When on site ask for a copy and keep it on file. 2. Ask to see their insurance and again keep a copy on file. 3. What you pay for is what you get! Most Drones today have the ability to provide .jpg and RAW images. See my website for an explanation of this, but essentially for a website the drone produces a .jpg file at 72 - 92 dpi as standard. This is perfect for a website on line image. BUT not good enough to print. You will need the RAW file for printing, but again a professional photography will have the correct software tools to provide the correct format or you’re needs. So ask you service provider how they will provide the Raw image or a high quality .jpg image for printing. This is vital - converting a DJI drone RAW image without professional software that can support the integrated Camera from the drone will result in what’s called a ‘fish bowl’ affect. I’d love to here from you if that has happened to you in the past, I offer additional services to help fix such problems. 4DS Drone Services uses a range of Drones to meet your needs, and provides a quality image production service. All of the pilots are GVC commercial Drone License operators, and have full liability insurance.

What do you love most about your job?

I have 10+ years experience in commercial drone flying, having worked within the drone industry. I have also considerable experience in surveying and utilising the latest Geospatial technology. What I love the most is helping people view the world using the latest technology.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having spent years working for several global manufacturers, I started my own business to allow me to work my hours and to give back to local communities. I’m always looking for interesting projects to add to my portfolio and for certain projects I will do the work for free if their is a gap in my portfolio and/or if it is for Heritage or Charity work.

Why should our clients choose you?

I’m using Bark to fill out my diary between larger commercial projects. Providing drone photos and videos to ensure I keep up to date with My skills and to provide a low cost service to support local businesses and individuals. Since the civil aviation authority tightened the rules around drone flying I have found I can provide something that is very unique and cost affective.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

As I provide drone services, all of this is in person, I need to understand what you are looking for, and to run some validation checks to ensure it’s legal to fly in the area you wish to cover. With my GVC authority I am able to carry out most work in a relatively short time period.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

All work is carried out ensuring Covid rules are followed.
