Working with Maple Aerial Photography and Abraham King was honestly one of those experiences that reminded us that sometimes the right person comes along at exactly the right time. We are RUN VMC, a community run club based in Vaughan, and we had been looking for someone who could help us capture professional footage of our runs for quite some time. We wanted to elevate the quality of our content and give the club a more professional look, but finding the right person had been difficult. Before working with Abraham, we had actually found ourselves relying on drone footage that other people had captured at events or runs just so we could have something to share. We knew that wasn't a sustainable solution, and we really wanted footage that was actually ours and captured the RUN VMC experience properly. We had a drone photographer lined up for one of our runs, but unfortunately, they cancelled on us the week before. We were back to square one and still trying to find someone who could help us. That's when Abraham reached out to us. The timing honestly felt almost divine. We had been searching for someone for a while, our original photographer had just cancelled, and then Abraham came along at exactly the right moment. From the beginning, he was easy to communicate with, friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in understanding what we were trying to create. And then he told us he was going to be filming while rollerblading alongside the runners. I honestly thought he was joking. He was not. ? Abraham actually showed up on rollerblades and kept pace with the runners while capturing drone footage. Watching it happen in person was something else. It wasn't just a matter of putting a drone in the air and pressing record. He was actively moving with the group, keeping up with the pace of the run, positioning himself to get dynamic shots, and clearly putting a lot of thought into how he could capture the experience. That extra effort made a huge difference. The footage gave RUN VMC the professional look we had been trying to achieve. It captured the movement of the runners, the size of the group, the atmosphere, and the energy of the run in a way that regular phone footage simply cannot. Having quality aerial footage also gives us something we can use to properly showcase who we are and what our community looks like to people who may have never attended one of our runs. What I appreciated most was that Abraham didn't just show up, record something, and leave. He was engaged, personable, and easy to work with throughout the process. He brought creativity to the shoot and was willing to go the extra mile—quite literally in this case—to get the footage. For a growing run club like ours, having professional visual content makes a real difference. It changes how people perceive the organization, helps us communicate the experience better online, and gives us content that actually reflects the quality and energy of what we're building. We are genuinely grateful that Abraham reached out when he did. Considering how long we had been searching, the cancellation we had just experienced, and the timing of his introduction to us, it really felt like the right person found us at the right time. If you're looking for someone who is professional, creative, friendly, willing to listen to what you want, and isn't afraid to do something a little different to get the shot, we would absolutely recommend Maple Aerial Photography and Abraham King.
