Kickstart a healthier lifestyle

The food we eat plays an enormous part in our health and wellbeing. It’s a core part of leading a healthier life. Nutritionists are experts in helping you make practical steps towards improving your nutrition. They can create a structured meal plan to help you stay on track to becoming a healthier you. It’s not just recipes though. They can offer expert tips and tricks to keep you on the straight and narrow.

Tailored to you

If you suffer from allergies or have special dietary requirements, a professional can ensure that you get your vital nutrients. If you have a medical condition, such as Crohn’s Disease, a registered dietician can assess your condition and provide specific advice. With their expertise, you’ll be able to create exciting meal plans that help manage your medical condition.

What’s the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?

Registered dietitians are qualified to assess, diagnose and treat dietary problems or nutritional needs. They also tend to help clients with special dietary requirements or medical conditions. To be a dietitian, you’ve got to be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Many dietitians work within the NHS as opposed to privately, although you can still find private dietitians to help advise you on your eating habits. Whereas nutritionists are more likely to be the ones advising on weight loss or sport nutrition. Nutritionists can be registered with the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN), but they don't have to be.

What qualifications do you need to be a nutritionist?

To become qualified as a nutritionist, I had to complete a course run by the UKVRN. After completing the course, I became qualified as a registered nutritionist. This means that all my clients can check my qualifications and experience online. Clients can therefore be confident in my abilities, as they know that I'm qualified under a trustworthy organisation.

What’s the most common reason why clients come to you?

Weight loss is the most common reason that new clients come to me. They often find it difficult to know how to get the right nutrients into their diets without feeling hungry or unsatisfied. But over the last few years, I’ve had more and more people coming to me with IBS-related issues. I think that's because more people are recognising the symptoms of IBS and are getting diagnosed. They then come to nutritionists or dietitians for guidance on how to alter their eating habits to help relieve their symptoms.

This is very professional, experience, planned, systematic, integrated, progression, Bio-Physical values and the like. Seems World Class for sure. Not sure I need every day of week guidance? However I can commit to daily consistent discipline. I am 80 years old. I have been athletic all my life. I was a Cross Country Runner, etc. I am possibly looking for a modified program? Agree the mindset as a way of life is key to good balanced health all my days. Excellent information and Thank You Rance Hayes for your time.

Still in Nolan’s program now, there aren’t enough good things I can say about his program. Every question I’ve had was responded to quickly and he helped me work around any doubts I had about the program. Highly recommend.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Nolan for the great training program he’s provided. Nolan your expertise and knowledge of the fitness industry has been invaluable in helping me to understand and apply what I've learned to become my best self. This nutrition and training program has taught me so much discipline and healthy habits, and mostly how hard work pays off. I’m looking forward to working again with you in the future
