How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?

A healthy diet is vital to leading a healthy life. But surprisingly, what you eat is only part of the whole picture. Having a positive body image and good relationship with food are just as important. We work on helping you like the foods you eat and we get your food to fit your lifestyle. Making small changes that lead to a big impact is important in working towards a healthy life.

What do you love most about your job?

At Dietetic Experts, we thrive on making individualized plans, meaning one size does not fit all. We don't use any cookie-cutter meal plans, we work on making a plan specific to your body and needs. This is the best part of being a registered dietitian - a registered dietitian has received the advanced medical training and certification to help people in ways that are right for them.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Dietetic Experts began as a way to help people make lasting lifestyle and nutrition changes. We know that for healthy, lasting change, we need to stay accountable and work with a nutrition professional monthly. Most hospitals and insurance companies will only provide a dietitian to you for 15-minutes every 6 months, which only leads to a poor relationship with your food and body without successful change. At Dietetic Experts, we are dedicated to helping you get where you want to go with plans that can be scaled up or down, no pressure. We are here to actually help you!

Why should our clients choose you?

Dietetic Experts thrive in helping people meet their weight and health goals. We are led by a Registered Dietitian - meaning this is nutrition information you can trust. Nutrition is a science, not an opinion. Let’s focus on positive body image, small changes that make a big impact, and sustainable ways of eating that fit into your lifestyle. Whether you are looking to lose weight, manage a medical condition, or generally start living a healthier life, we are here for you. We specialize in nutrition for a wide array of people. We provide services for children, adults, or older adults. We work with people through every step of life.
A registered dietitian is a nutrition professional you can trust. Morgan Cheung, MS, RDN, LD is the Registered Dietitian behind Dietetic Experts, LLC. She has a 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from the University of Cincinnati, completed a supervised practice experience in the field, is board certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, has completed a Master's Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Alabama, has spent most of her career at the #2 hospital in the nation, and was recently awarded 2019 Young Dietitian of the Year by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Needless to say, we know our stuff so you can stop googling "how to eat healthy" and get real and lasting change! Let's do this!

Your specialist will be able to advise you on the full range of services available and will be able to help you select the best treatment for your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a specialist today.

Dietitians are the only health professionals regulated and protected by law. Registered Nutritionists can provide evidence-based advice and information about food and healthy eating. Nutritional therapists provide alternative treatment, based on the idea that the body needs 'healing' and 'correcting'.

  • Credentials - Find a specialist that has the credentials to support your personal needs.

  • Experience - Ask how long your Dietitian or Nutritionist has been practising and look up their background.

  • Gimmicks - Check your specialist is not supporting an unsuitable diet brand or supplement.

  • Right fit - Make sure they are upfront in the areas they specialise in and are able to make referrals if your needs are outside their comfort zone.

The minimum requirement for a Dietitian is a degree in Dietetics or a related science degree with a postgraduate diploma or higher degree in Dietetics. Nutritionists should have attended a course which is accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN).

Before you choose either a Nutritionist or a Dietitian, you could read testimonials and read reviews on their website. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and read reviews from past customers too.
