How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?

We really are what we eat and how we live. The food we put into our bodies, as well as the way we live our lives, determines our level of happiness, energy, our propensity towards illness, and our physical appearance. Providing our bodies and minds with the nutrients and nourishment they need determines the level of our wellness and our resistance against sickness. Our vibrancy and vitality are factors not only of our food intake, but also of other areas of our lives such as sleep, stress management, exercise, relationships, career fulfillment etc, as our health depends on the interaction of all of these factors for optimal functioning.

What do you love most about your job?

To see my clients' progress and subsequent motivation to help themselves even further brings me great joy. When I see their results, that's incredibly fulfilling. What makes it even more rewarding is when they tell me that it wasn't actually that difficult to make my recommended changes. It just becomes a natural part of their lives, rather than a restrictive, controlled 'diet'. To know that they've shifted the destiny of their health for the long-term, rather than remaining stuck and suffering as they had been doing, is why I do what I do!

What inspired you to start your own business?

Through my own research and trial and error, I healed myself of many issues such as chronic depression, IBS, eating disorders, autoimmune, weight gain, by changing my diet and lifestyle. So I decided to get my MA in Holistic Wellness, so that I could help others heal the way I had. I then specialized in Weight Management through NASM, and certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Now I coach clients in uncovering the root causes of their illnesses and diseases and empower them to make the changes their bodies and minds need to heal.

Why should our clients choose you?

I look at the whole person, not just nutrition. I believe that looking at food alone is not enough, as human beings are a lot more complicated than that. To reach optimal health, we also need to address sleep, exercise, stress management, positive relationships, social life etc. My approach is also not restrictive or a short-term fix, but rather inclusive and a long-term solution.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Absolutely! I utilize zoom, FaceTime, Skype or telephone.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I've been seeing the majority of my clients via zoom, FaceTime, Skype or telephone, which has been working very effectively!
