How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?

What you eat controls almost every function of your body and mind. Every time you eat, it's an opportunity to fuel optimal health or create disease. In other words, food is powerful medicine. It is information. What we eat can have a profound effect on our lives.

What do you love most about your job?

I love connecting with clients and empowering them to make changes in their diet and lifestyle that help them reach their health goals.

What inspired you to start your own business?

The seed was planted when I was living in Sydney and began seeing a holistic health practitioner because of digestive issues and hormonal imbalances. It was the best decision I’ve ever made because not only did she help me heal myself using food as medicine but also she opened my eyes to the world of integrative health care which treats the root cause, not just the symptoms. I became so enthralled by holistic health that I decided to go to nutrition school and while there, I started a blog as a way to share my passion for healthy food and the knowledge I was learning in my courses. Once I finished school and moved to Denver, I launched my nutrition consulting practice.
