It started by accident. I started off as a tour operator putting together itineraries for clients who wanted to visit and travel around Italy. One day I received a call from a client, my first wedding client, asking if I could help with the paperwork and the restaurant. Of course I can. At the tim there was a complete void in the market, nobody was offering this service, so I worked hard and spent about 1 year in Italy collating information and checking out town halls, churches, hotels, gardens etc and put together a few ideas and started selling weddings in Italy. It grew from strength to strength and we became the main provider for a big tour operator which we stopped after about 5 years as the product we were provided was working within the concept of the big provider and not what the true essence of what we were all about which was to work with our client to ensure that every aspect of their requirements were covered, so we reverted back to the tailored and one to one relationshp with our client.
