We are Hornsea and Hull based wedding photographers. We’ve covered weddings, events and portrait sessions from Bridlington, Hull, Hornsea, Beverley, Scarborough and Doncaster, sometimes travelling further afield. We don’t limit ourselves to a specific type of photography. We love what we do, and are always keen to provide our clients with their preferred style of photos. That said, if we were to claim a “specialty style”, we’d say it was documentary- candid and natural. Some call it documentary wedding photography, reportage wedding photography or even wedding photojournalism, it all means the same thing…you will barely notice we are there.
To be a part of a wedding, to capture the day with the best imagery possible is what strives us on to cover more. And then when all editing is done and you finally send over the photos to see the reaction of the bride and groom is the best feeling. We've also met some amazing people over the years, clients that we can now safely say are lifelong friends. We've also been honoured enough to cover festivals and events, along with baby shoots and portrait sessions with actresses from the West End in London.
Ripped off by a photographer at our own wedding back in 2005. Then in 2013 a close friend was charged an astronomical amount by a photographer, who ended up taking six months to deliver the photos. That for us is what mostly inspired us, to provide a first class photography service. We've been keen photographers since 2009. From working with Google on their street view project, to capturing buildings and heritage sites using 360 technology. In 2010 we were asked to cover our first wedding, and the rest is history as they say.
We are a husband and wife team, who specialise in documentary style wedding photography. This means that our style allows us to be discreet and unobtrusive, but make no mistake we are busy bees, always looking for that next big moment to capture. We also pride ourselves on being friendly and approachable, from teaching the little kiddies photography at weddings, to making lifelong friends with our clients.
