She also worked hard to make sure I had it in time after I came to her with like 10 days until my wedding. Her prices are brilliant too, much less than every other quote and no hard sell. For example she could have shortened my dress (and would have for a great price) but also suggested I try a small heel and/or an underskirt as that was enough to not need to alter the length. She also made time for my groom and his brother realising their trousers didn’t fit days before the wedding and got them back to us super quick and in perfect condition

The focus on all of the classes is fun, friendship & learning. There are classes for all abilities from complete beginner to advanced and we hold all kinds of creative classes, such as dressmaking, quilting, knitting & crochet.

Attended the open day and Amanda was so friendly and approachable. I have minimal experience sewing, in that I have made a tote bag and a cushion and other items which can't actually be identified 🙈.. but find when I'm at home I always want to sew but never seem to get round to it and in no way at all would I be confident enough to make any type of clothing. I decided to book a few courses with Sew you Can to help grow my confidence and because Amanda seemed like a great teacher (she actually is a qualified primary teacher so knows the right way to teach)
Last night I attended the first Sew you Can sewing class - Christmas pyjamas. From when I entered the premises I felt so relaxed. It was like being at sewing school, I've learned so much. Amanda showed us how to work out sizing, use a clothing pattern, cut a pattern, and how to then sew the material to create the garment. No question was silly, and any help asked for was given but not in a pushy way it was very much lead by the person sewing. Amanda made this feel like a safe and caring environment and provided me with so much confidence in myself. I can't believe I have now made my first ever clothing item! Only problem is now my daughter wants me to make her some!
Can't wait to attend my next class with my daughter. Sew You Can is a fantastic business and an amazing place to learn from beginner to experienced.
