What do you love most about your job?

Providing quality, safe scaffolds.. Seeing our customers happy with our work, our attitude and our pricing structure is what it is all about. If customers aren't happy neither are we!

What inspired you to start your own business?

I've been in the scaffolding trade for approx. 20 years. The job has took me all over the UK and the Middle East working on some very prestigious projects. In the years leading up to starting my own business I was employed as a scaffolding H&S advisor which included inspecting scaffolds. I was shocked at some of the poor quality and unsafe scaffolds that I encountered on a regular basis. This inspired me to start up my company with my brother knowing we could provide quality, safe scaffolds whilst maintaining low costs. So far so good........

Why should our clients choose you?

We carry out all our works to the highest standards regardless of project size. We do not cut corners, work to the highest safety standards and are very friendly and approachable. We understand that you may not know much about scaffolding. That is why we are here to help 24hrs a day to provide no obligation professional advice and quotes.

Scaffolding can be a risky business, which is why any worker putting up scaffolding should be competent and trained in how to erect, alter and dismantle that exact scaffolding type. The work should always be carried out under the direction of an experienced and qualified supervisor. Failure to do so could result in serious, or even fatal, injury.

As scaffolding involves working at height, safety should always be of primary importance. When getting scaffolding erected, make sure it’s thoroughly inspected by a competent and qualified worker before it is first used and then every seven days thereafter. Don’t cut corners when it comes to assessing the safety of your scaffolding - it could seriously damage property, (or in the very worst case - lives) if you don’t.

Scaffolding needs to be hard-wearing, so only the sturdiest of materials will do! Steel and aluminium are the most common materials, with aluminium being slightly more expensive as it’s more durable than steel. Which is why if you need scaffolding for a long period you should always opt for aluminium, while it’s a bigger upfront investment, it’ll save you money in the long run.
