What inspired you to start your own business?

Working as a sub contractor for many years and not being fully in control of my work is what inspired me most to start my own business. Also due to customer recommendation I was being contacted to carry out private work this built my confidence in roofing and encouraged me to start my own business.

Why should our clients choose you?

Clients should choose me because I carry out work to the highest possible standard. I ensure that the customer will receive the best possible service and if they are dissatisfied at all with anything this will be resolved with them to the best I can. I do this by ensuring the team around me are reliable, hard working and have the same work ethic as I do. As a team we take great pride in all the work we carry out, however big or small and our aim is to guarantee the customer will not be disappointed.

It’s always recommended to hire a professional roofer to repair or replace a roof. Repairing a roof involves working at height which can be extremely dangerous if you aren’t professionally trained and without the right safety equipment. Roofs are also delicate, meaning that they can be easily damaged during a DIY repair. This could lead to further costs later down the line.

In the majority of cases, a leaking roof will not be covered by home insurance. Some companies offer this type of insurance as an add-on service which needs to be purchased on top of standard home insurance. The exception to this is if your roof was damaged by a storm, in which case you may find that your home insurance will cover the damage. However, the majority of cases will not be covered by insurance.

A new roof may increase property value slightly. The level of increase depends on the condition of the existing roof. If the existing roof is in poor condition and is detracting from the home’s value, replacing the roof is a great investment. If the existing roof is in good condition and there is no visual issue, replacing the roof is unlikely to affect the value of the property.
