Find a Roofer in Llandudno

With being a Quantity Surveyor who works in Local government, I go through numerous vigorous checks frequently when vetting contractors. I am always cautious when employing Contractors. Our roof is quite a complex roof with a ridge along the rear of the house, then the sides of the house run up to hips and a valley with new lead box gutter which was put in from a new pitched dorma extension. We also have 2 beautifully detailed chimneys which were re-haunched and obviously all the lead work dressed in. We also built a canopy to the front of the house with a tiled roof, then a flat roof rubber parapet to our rear extension. We had planning and building control involved throughout the whole process. Building control were very happy with the work and talked me through everything, explaining how they had done everything perfectly, from the dry ridge fixing system, down to the Sarking felt, which when correctly installed will hang down inside the gutter with felt support trays. Porter and Sons also fitted fascias, soffits and rainwater goods. We also had an elderly 'Neighbour from Hell'. He called HSE and environmental health and fabricated things such as Health and Safety and Concerns etc. The HSE were very happy with the work that Porter and Sons were doing and told them to carry on with the good work they were doing. The nuisance neighbour approached them daily and the boys were very calm, collected and actually pleasant with the Neighbour. We love our roofs, and Porter and Sons listened to us, and did exactly what we wanted. We went for mock bond tiles with a bigger overlap so it would give an appearance of a smaller tile to be more in keeping with the surrounding properties. We have had so many comments on the appearance of the house, neighbours, friends and passer-by all commented on how hard they worked and 'never stopped'. It looks like they will be picking up a lot more Jobs from the Neighbours too. Happy to provide references and photographs.

Although I did not use J Campbell, they were very keen to price the job. I would have used them if they had been local to Anglesey.
