What do you love most about your job?

I love the variety of work that I undertake. Having initially worked as a newspaper reporter, I learned to absorb complex information very quickly, respond to rapid deadlines and convey a great story. I have carried these skills with me throughout my career. My agency work allows me to work across a range of different sectors, peel back the layers of each, learn about each organisation, its products and services, its people and values, the industry in which it operates and its markets and audience segments. It keeps me on my toes, engaging my creativity, allowing me to try new things to the great satisfaction of my clients.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have worked in-house and with marketing communications agencies. In many of my roles I had a great deal of autonomy. I am very driven and a real self-starter. I started to think...maybe I can do this for myself. I decided to take a leap of faith and give it my best shot. Running my own business provides me with the level of flexibility that I need in my life - not having the daily commute and being tied to the office, really suits me and I can take the dog for a walk during the day!

Why should our clients choose you?

I have a real passion for what I do and my desire to do the best possible job for my clients makes me go the extra mile. I have a lot of experience using traditional and digital channels and like to take an integrated approach in applying marketing communications that will 'make a difference', provide return on investment and help you achieve your goals.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Most of my service delivery can be provided remotely. Following an initial client brief, activity will be undertaken to agreed timescales, with client liaison at key stages for feedback and sign-off.
Initial briefings can be undertaken in person, or via video call, with further contact through email and by phone based on the client's preference.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Face-to-face meetings have been reduced to minimise direct contact - in reality this has saved both parties travel time and money and means more can be incorporated into the working day. Video calls and conferences can be undertaken using a range of platforms: Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Adobe Connect based on requirements for presentation or functionality within the meeting.
