We are a small family company run by a husband and wife team (Ian and Laura Gardner) now also catering for plumbing, gas and property maintenance and also fire safety. I myself (Ian) is the electrician. Laura my wife, run's the office and organises my day to day jobs. She is the person most of ur customer's talk to first. Brendan our heating engineer/plumber Keith our fire safety officer We work on all domestic and commercial electrical jobs 5 - 6 days a week all year round usually between the hours of 7am and 7pm but this can be altered to suit our customer's needs. We also provide emergency call outs which we for-fill 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. We are now nationwide for Rewires on all types of property.
I started my working life in the HM Armed forces in the Royal Signals and trained as an Electrical Mechanical Engineer, straight out of school at 15 going to an Armed Forces School/Collage. I have always from being a young child like fixing things and working things out so electric's I found was my thing.
I love being an electrician and being my own boss!
I love rewires the most in my job but electric's in general is great I have a masters in Mathematic's and math's is a big thing used all the time in electrical job's which again two of my joy's because they keep my mind active I don't like to be sat around, that's why my wife Laura run's the office she is qualified in Customer services and business administration and again she loves her job and talking to customer's.
After coming out of the Armed Forces I really struggled to stay settled in job's but tried my best to stick with it but I found myself getting very bored very quickly nothing was keeping me happy, active or keeping my brain in gear which is very frustrating for me personally.
I helped run a courier firm for a few year's and thoroughly enjoyed making the decisions and organising, finances etc so got the bug to work for myself.
I met Laura in 2013 and everything changed for both of us and we decided to pull away from employed life and start to build our own company. Which now we both love as we both have our own job's to do that we are both fully qualified in even though if a new qualification in electric's comes up I snap the trainers hands off I am always looking to improve and develop our company.
