This firm put a fabulous slate roof on my Victorian house. So pleased with the work that my in laws have just had a brand new roof from them too. Nothing is a bother and have to say that their surveyor Damon was absolutely fantastic in sorting out both jobs. Thoroughly recommend.

I was first made aware of Attic in 2021 when i was looking at a loft conversion, having seen their vans outside a couple of local properties. At the time we had already received a quote from a national company that did not offer a completed project from start to finish. When i first contacted Attic i found them to be professional in their response and replied in a good timescale for a enquiry. The first part of the process was a visit to my home where i was able to put my basic request to Jake and Dave for a initial quote, during this visit i was given helpful guidance on what would be a good solution for me not just a bland generic build. They do listen and take in what you want which is very refreshing. After a short period of time i received our Quote which was broken down clearly and very well listed in terms of work to be carried out and when payments would be made. I would like to add at this point other than a very small deposit Attic did not ask for any money in advance this was only ever requested at major milestones of the build. After receiving the Quote which was in fact more competitive than the National company as it included the completion of everything with a extra for painting i agreed to this. Jake and Dave then gave me a provisional date for work to start. During the period between agreeing the quote and start of the work we were kept update regularly at what stage they were at with the preparation of the job. At the start of the Job i was due to go on holiday and we agreed to leave the keys for the property with Attic, i would have no concerns if you need to do this as at all. Attic kept us updated while i was away through a whatsapp group they set up for each customer, which i found very helpful. When the the build started in earnest i was extremely impressed with the attitude of the whole team that came in to my home. They were respectful to myself and the property. They are also very punctual starting and finishing at the same time each day, we normally had a update every couple of days about what had been done / completed and what was happening next. As the building moved on you start to see the quality of the work appear from little touches one of many was the staircase and how they manage to duplicate the details so that it looks continuous. I found its best to take their advice but don't be worried about asking questions. The lead up to the loft space is now beautifully presented and transitions well from the old part of the house to the new loft. I now have a loft exactly how i wanted but laid out much better than we expected, this is down to Attic and the way they work and the expertise of the team and the craftsman they have. I can not recommend the team enough this was a major outlay for me and they have all surpassed my expectations with there finsh and craftsmanship they put in from start to finish. I found the whole team to be a real pleasure to be around as they take real pride in what they produce and would not hesitate to to have them back to complete any other work i required. Thank you
