Restore7 have been caring for my sister for approximately 10 years now. The condition she has is rare and progressive. Wendy and her staff have progressed with the illness. They have learnt, questioned and cared for her to an extremely high standard. What do you love most about your job?
Making a positive difference to people's lives.
The relationships that are developed with Service Users and their families whilst supporting them. Many of these are over many years.
Giving hope to individuals; often at very difficult times in their lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had significant and relevant experience over many years which enabled me to begin and evolve Restore7 Ltd. This included beginning and evolving the Community Stroke Team in Leeds.
There is a gap in the services that the NHS are able to provide. I wanted to fill one of these gaps.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
It is possible to supply elements of our service remotely e.g. an exercise plan and reviews with those having life coaching. However, care and aspects of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy cannot be provided remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Provision of PPE in Service Users Homes and the clinic.
Home Care
We provide person centred compassionate care for the elderly and those who have suffered a stroke or other neurological condition. This includes support with; washing, showering, bathing, dressing, meal preparation and medication. Help can also be provided for household tasks and shopping.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy services can either be provided within our well equipped clinic in Leeds 7 or within your own home. Physiotherapy can address aspects of balance, movement, strength and conditioning. The aim of Physiotherapy is to improve independence and also reduce pain.
Occupational Therapy
Stroke and Neuro Specialist Occupational Therapy is provided to improve movement and your ability to undertake activities that are important to you. Cognition can also be assessed and addressed to enhance your orientation and independence.
