I came to Richard as a total beginner; he quickly taught me the basics of playing in a fun and enjoyable way, it wasn’t long until he had me playing along to some of my favourite songs. A year in and I’ve learnt a vast array of songs, Richard is patient and encouraging, his lessons are enjoyable and entertaining and I highly recommend him.

John is a great teacher. He is very patient and lets pupils progress at their own pace whilst keeping them interested. My seven year old daughter seems to be getting more and more enthusiastic about playing the Ukulele

My son Max needed someone who really knew his stuff, was motivating and could teach a 13 year old who is a reasonably advanced player, but a very visual learner. A traditional approach to teaching theory would have killed him. Much to my amazement in 5 lessons Jonny had taught him a huge amount of theory which he is putting into practice. He now improvises pretty well - applying theory and licks Jonny taught him. Despite Jonny moving to London - Max is continuing lessons via skype (rather than find another teacher) which gives you some indication of how effective a teacher Jonny is. And yes he is spiky in terms of hair - but a very mellow dude as a teacher!
I am a producer in the Bath area and I've been looking for someone to collaborate with for a while, I stumbled across Tom and his studio about a mouth ago, he has really helped push my music in the right direction. Tom as a teacher and artist has a lot to offer anyone who's looking to improve their skills as a musician
